Come sempre, anche la conferenza d'apertura della Apple WWDC 2008 si apre all'insegna dei numeri: l'annuale appuntamento degli sviluppatori legati al mondo della mela fa segnare per l'edizione 2008 un tutto esaurito con 5200 partecipanti. Per una settimana il Moscone Center di San Francisco ospiterà un totale di 147 sessioni tecniche, 85 delle quali dedicate ai sistemi Mac e a Mac OS X e 65 ad iPhone.
Steve Jobs, a capo dell'azienda di Cupertino, prima di passare ai temi caldi del momento preannuncia prevemente che la prossima versione di Mac OS X sarà disponibile nel giro di circa un anno e verrà identificata dal nome in codice Snow Leopard.
