AR-media is a plugin for SketchUp that allows us to view models in augmented reality [1 ] (Augmented Reality), we see as the "lead" the 3D models on our hands!
downloadable from the manufacturer, I have installed the free version, which unfortunately does not have all the features of the full version, but that is sufficient for our experience of augmented reality.
For the free version must register to the site, just enter an email address and password, then activate the license. Proceed to the installation taking
the browser window open, so then you can just enter the code in the box, then copy and paste the new code you just generated to complete the installation.
In the version for Mac OS, you must click on the Configure file and the path to the plugin folder of SketchUp, I guess is similar to the Windows version.
Now we just have to try. In this video I used the 3D model of the Tower of Cerrano created by AcidGraz. [2]
In the video I did not use any command but you can change the view by pressing a few buttons, I list the main
- f in and out of full screen mode,
- w wireframe,
- s shrinks the model, the model zooms
- S,
- esc to exit.
