The climate is mild in the Cinque Terre, favored by the mountain range that protects it from the north winds. The Ligurian Sea mitigates the cold in winter, thus giving rise to significant temperature changes little. The average summer temperatures reach 30 degrees. The rains are generally short, but frequent in autumn and spring.
