Corniglia is centrally located with respect to the other centers of the five lands and is the smallest. It 'the only country that is almost inaccessible from the sea and is perched on a promontory a hundred feet high. It has an atmosphere more of the hilly seaside town. To reach the village from the station ferriovaria you can opt for the eco-bus which is free for holders of the "5 Terre Card" or have to climb a staircase made 33 flights with 377 steps. The country is a center dedicated to agriculture and is surrounded on three sides by vineyards and terraces. Corniglia to Vernazza is joined by an attractive promenade halfway between the summit and the sea.
