Manarola to Riomaggiore is part of the City. Manarola, so like the other Cinque Terre, is wedged between the Ligurian Sea and the steep mountains that is separated from the Apennines. To the west of Manarola we find the other three villages of the Cinque Terre, which is Monterosso, Corniglia, Vernazza, while the east is only Riomaggiore. Among the five boroughs after Corniglia is the smallest. Dominant, upstream of, is the church parrocchiale del 1338 in stile gotico. Le abitazioni variopinte, costituite dalle tipiche case torri genovesi, si affacciano una ridosso all'altra sulla via principale, detta Via Discovolo ricavata dalla copertura del corso d'acqua. Riparato da una gola chiusa tra due speroni rocciosi si trova il porticciolo. Il percorso si snoda lungo la costa, a picco sul mare, e permette di raggiungere Riomaggiore con una passeggiata di circa 30 minuti. Da ogni parte si alza Io sguardo, eccetto che verso il mare, sovrastano i ripidi vigneti ancora intensamente coltivati.
Manarola è raggiungibile attraverso due sentieri principali. Il primo è il sentiero di crinale numero 1, conosciuto come “Alta via delle Cinque Terre”.
The second main route is the coastal path number 2, part of a wider tour that spans the entire Ligurian Riviera and is known as the blue trail, which crosses all the Cinque Terre from Monterosso to Riomaggiore, taking in treatment between those 'Last Manarola and the appearance of the famous "Street of Love." Unlike that of the ridge, the coastal path is subject to payment of an entrance fee imposed by the Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre.
is active then an electric bus service operated by the National Park of Cinque Terre which ply from the town of Manarola the bar of delimitation of the treatment the parking lot of the residents. Electric buses also ensure the connection and Groppo Volastra.
During the tourist season a boat service line connects with the other villages of Manarola Cinque Terre, Corniglia but that does not have a landing point.
